Current Project: FERNWEH
Fernweh is a German word that means the opposite of homesick. English doesn't have a great translation for it, but it can be described as far-sickness, or a longing to go far and see the world.
At the age of 19, I took my first international solo trip. Most people were astonished that my parents would let me. In 2025, I am working on a documentary series about female solo travel. I’m continuing to learn what it means to be a female solo traveler, through interviewing other women who I meet while traveling and continuing to reflect on my own experiences. Follow along!
